Adaria Vending Services Limited is carefully monitoring the situation related to COVID-19.

As the province of Ontario reopens, we are experiencing unprecedented demand. We are working tirelessly to scale up our operations to accommodate. We ask for your patience as we work through this spike in volume. If your site has already established reopening plans, please communicate this to your account manager or to our service desk as soon as possible so that we can slot you into an appropriate timeslot.

Many of our suppliers are also experiencing significant production issues and product shortages. As a result, many items may not be available for purchase at this time. You may experience emptier than normal vending machines. During the lockdown, we reduced the capacity and stock levels on the vast majority of machines to optimize the freshness of the products. We are now scaling our supply levels back up to accommodate reopening.

We expect to be able to resume normal fill rates by the end of August, subject to governmental regulation and supplier constraints.

The safety of our clients, employees, and their families, continues to be our top priority. With that in mind, we have implemented enhanced practices while servicing our customers as well as enhanced practices in our own facilities, including our offices, warehouses, and transportation equipment.

Adaria strongly recommends when using vending machines to utilize cashless payment methods to avoid additional touchpoints with the bill acceptors or coin insert area.

Here are the steps we are taking at each client site, as of now:

  • Enhanced sanitization of your vending equipment at every service
  • Your Route Driver has the appropriate cleaning products and tools to ensure this sanitization
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) have been provided to all Route Drivers when servicing client sites
  • Gloves have been provided to all Route Drivers, to be used when servicing your location
  • For our management teams, we have temporarily stopped all in-trade visits unless necessary

Here are the steps we are taking in our own facilities, as of now:

  • Enhanced and increased sanitization by our cleaning staff
  • Communications and training on proper hygiene practices, to maintain a safe workplace
  • Restrictions on travel, including encouragement of avoiding personal travel where possible
  • Employees who feel any signs of illness are asked to stay home, and to contact their health professional
  • A “No Handshake” policy has been implemented
